Meal Planning/Recipes

If you plan ahead for your treatment, you can save your time and strength by using BeLovedNC's delivery services, meal planning education and full recipe lists. On days when you're feeling great, you may want to cook large portions of food that you can divide up and freeze. Then on days when you're not feeling so well, you can simply defrost something. Eat your largest meal that has the most nutrients whenever you feel the best and have the most energy during the day. You might end up having soup or a fiber filled smoothie for breakfast, but that's OK — it's whatever is best for YOUR body and YOUR treatment protocol discussed with your healthcare provider.

Despite these health benefits, recent studies have shown that more than 50 percent of Americans do not engage in enough regular physical activity.
