Fruit trees of all kinds will grow on both banks of the river. Their leaves will not wither, nor will their fruit fail. Every month they will bear fruit, because the water from the sanctuary flows to them. Their fruit will serve for food and their leaves for healing. Ezekiel 47:12

who we are and what we do

We are a group of people who desire to educate and empower those affected by cancer through the promotion of evidence-based nutrition practices using the American Institute for Cancer Research Heal Well Guide as our foundation (see below). We will help families and individuals develop grocery shopping and cooking skills to save time and money, plan and build plant-based, whole food meals as well as grow their own organic and pesticide free fruits and vegetables. We can assist healing through faith and food by providing access to resources, information and support to those who are currently undergoing treatment and in recovery for cancer in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area.

talk to a certified oncology nutritionist

If you are in active treatment whether it be chemotherapy or radiation there are specific nutritional needs that should be addressed by a professional.  The American Cancer Society provides a web page where you can talk with one of their representatives who will guide you to accessing a licensed oncology nutritionist.
